Product Description
Brand New Product ready for the 2020/21 shooting season
Another good idea from James Keyser Products is the affordable “Game Bird Crowner”. A compact devise which is mounted on any wall and can be quickly removed for washing. The Crowner is designed for pheasants, partridges, ducks, pigeons and Grouse. So no more plucking and gutting. How does it work? Remove the wings as close to the body with the saw. Cut the legs off also if you want them. Not essential. Make a small insertion into the crop of the bird which will allow you to peel back the outer skin exposing the breast. Then make a small cut at the tail. Insert the rear of the bird over the rod and angle iron and then slowly press downwards on the rod holding the bird horizontally as you do so. You are left with a beautiful crown. Dispose of the carcass and wings. It really is that simple and crowning large number of birds is not time consuming. Obviously there is no skin on a crown but a layer of bacon can compensate for this. So out with the “Plucking” and in with the “Crowning”.
